Do we trust in the Lord?
A few years ago, I placed no trust in the Lord. I was unsure if He existed. My confidence was in man, in worldly things…in new age practices that brought no peace. Those practices brought false hope to my broken heart. Through miraculous divine intervention, I was taught to place my trust in the Lord. He knows what is best for us. He will be honest with us. He does not promise us that difficult situations will just disappear. He promises that He will be there for us always, especially during these trials. The enemy wants to entice you with the hope of magically taking your problems away.
During the 40 days of Christ’s fasting in the desert, Satan tempted Christ. He offered (tempted) that he could alleviate the suffering…that he could just magically take it all away. Jesus knew better. He did not give in to the false promises of the enemy.
Life isn’t easy. It’s not supposed to be. There are ups and downs and moments where you’re so broken that you feel like you can’t go on. The best part is that Christ loves us all. He’s an expert in helping the broken. He spent His earthly ministry healing the broken. Never feel that you are too far gone and broken for His help and love. That’s a lie from the enemy. Jesus will not leave us. He will strengthen us and lift us up. He loves each and every one of us. He cares more for you than you will ever know. Place your trust in Him! Let Him help you and guide you on. Wishing you a beautiful day!
