I had a conversation with a dear friend of mine the other day who is facing some spiritual warfare in her home. She knows of my story and she’s been an incredible support to me and is such a beautiful person with a heart of gold. She has called on Christ, and He is by her side. We spoke a few days ago, and what she said hit me like a ton of bricks. We talked about how to respond when the enemy attacks. “What do we do when that happens?” she asked. I told her that we fight back. She said yes, but that’s not all….

“We ROAR back!!!”

When she said that, I immediately got chills. I thought of the references of Jesus as “The Lion of Judah” in Revelations. She hadn’t heard of that reference before. Her comment blew my mind.

She’s absolutely right. When you are facing darkness, when the enemy is using new tactics to try and break you, know that the Lion of Judah is in your corner.

Get on your knees, call on Christ and he will defend you. Just as a Lion is a symbol of power, courage, and strength, so is our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. These times and battles call for our strength and courage.

Roar back, my friends. Roar back in prayer, roar back in scripture study, roar back in righteousness and avoiding temptation. Do not be afraid to be bold. If you need more strength, ask Christ for help. He will always be there for you if you ask Him to be.

God’s not dead

He’s surely alive

He’s living on the inside

Roaring like a lion!

⁃ God’s Not Dead, Newsboys

Wishing you boldness and strength in your battles! (and of course, as always, a beautiful day!)
