If you’re feeling fearful lately, if you’re afraid of what the future may hold, it is understandable. It’s accurate to say that we all feel this way from time to time. The enemy likes to try to make us feel fearful as well. There are times in my life when I’ve turned on the panic button in my brain instead of the faith button(who knew I had buttons in my brain). Times when I’ve given into fear instead of exercising my faith…and by the world’s standards, sometimes it does make sense to panic. Maybe you’re short on money this month, or maybe you’re fighting an illness, or maybe you’re having relationship troubles. Maybe you’re not where you want to be in life, and your patience is being tested. Maybe you just feel so alone. The trick is NOT to panic. Take a moment to pause and reflect. Think of a time when you placed your trust in God and He got you through a difficult situation. If you haven’t experienced God’s grace in your life yet, now is the perfect time to start. Pray and ask God for what you need. Place your life and situation in his hands. Hit the faith button- put it on autopilot and let God take over. Do not fear. Do not give in to the tactics of the enemy. The enemy will tell you that the problem is unsolvable, and that there are plenty of other problems to go along with that first problem that you are panicking about. Be strong. Recognize the temptation to panic and be fearful- know where those emotions come from. If you’re short on strength, pray for it. With God, all things are possible. He will provide. Fear not, dear friends. We have an amazing God who is with us every single day. Just as a loving father doesn’t want their child to be afraid, our Father in Heaven doesn’t want us to be afraid either.
He loves us!
Wishing you a beautiful day!
