Surrender.

In our lives there are two different timelines: God’s timeline, and our own. His timeline can vary greatly from what we have planned for our own lives. In God’s plan, we can be rerouted from our own course at any moment. We can encounter trials that we never thought were possible- troubles that we never would’ve added to our own path if we were given the choice.

When we are in the midst of these troubles, heavy burdens and sufferings- it can be difficult to understand God’s will for us. If we go to him in prayer, he can help us to understand. When our hearts are breaking, he can provide us with comfort and strength.

Christ is the ultimate example of a life surrendered to the will of God. He remembered his father in all things. He was continually about his father’s business while he was on this earth. Even in his darkest hour, he still continued to surrender his will to God.

When we surrender our lives to God, we learn to let go of our deadlines and expectations. We learn to trust in his divine wisdom and timing. We learn to have faith in his plan for our lives. He truly loves us!

Wishing you a beautiful day!
