Christ healed so many afflicted people during his ministry- not only from physical issues, but from mental, emotional, and spiritual issues as well.
Often, His words towards the afflicted were these:
Rise. Walk.
He lifted them up, He healed their troubled hearts and minds. He helped them to move forward, not just in a physical sense. He helped them to move forward mentally, emotionally, and spiritually as well.
Christ’s love lifts us up. It’s a love that will meet us where we are, no matter how dark the place.
With His help, we will be able to move forward- out of the darkness and into the light. When we have fallen, He will help us rise again.
