Wait for the Lord.

Remember the days you prayed for the things you have now.

I often think of that saying and I reflect upon my life. I reflect upon my past (and some current) seasons of waiting- until I could live on my own, have a job, a car, a home, a spouse, children. Seasons of waiting for physical healing, for spiritual strength in times of trial, for financial stability, for peace in different areas of my life.

Seasons of waiting for solutions to problems that I never thought I would face. Seasons of waiting for things that I thought I would have by now.

When it comes to all of this waiting- do we curse God for it? Or do we take what we can from it? There is wisdom, patience, and appreciation to be gained from waiting on the Lord.

When the wait seems long, when your heart is heavy, remember those days that you prayed for the things that you have now. If you need help remembering, ask God in prayer to help you see how far you’ve come in this life. Our loving Father will provide you with the faith, comfort, and understanding you need.

Wishing you a beautiful day!
