Over the weekend, I watched the movie “An Interview with God” with my family. The movie brought a great lesson to mind: even in the darkest of circumstances and lowest of times, God is always for us. He is always there.
The main character of the movie was facing trauma from being a war reporter, stress from helping his veteran friends with PTSD, a broken marriage from infidelity, and he was even contemplating suicide.
God was not idly sitting by while all of these things were happening to him. Every prayer that was uttered by this broken man was heard by God. God had a plan for him, just as he has plans for all of us. God began to place the right people on this man’s path- people that could help him with all that he needed. God protected him from unknown dangers when he was so upset and oblivious to his own surroundings.
God was there- aware of every detail and struggle.
When we have hit rock bottom, it can be hard to believe that God is there. I assure you that He is there, and just as the verse in Romans states- He is for us. With time, He can take the pain and hurt that we feel and turn it into hope. He can turn it into strength. He can turn it into forgiveness. He will make beauty from ashes.
The God of all creation knows who you are. Pray for help with your struggles. Pray to know His will for your life. He can and will provide insight into your life that no one else can.
With God on your side, who can be against you?
Wishing you a beautiful day!
