During his ministry, Jesus spoke to the Jews that were in the temple. He explained to them how important it was to understand the connection between himself and God, the Father.
In the previous verse in John, Christ also explains: “I do nothing of myself, but as my Father hath taught me. He that sent me is true.”
When we fully submit our will to God, just as Jesus did, the Father will not leave us alone. As Christ is God’s son, we are also God’s children. The same rule applies to us. He will always be with us.
For us to commit to God’s will, we must call upon God in prayer. We must ask our Father in Heaven if any changes in our lives need to be made, or if he wants us to take a different direction. God will direct us through the Holy Spirit on whatever it is that we need to do.
Wishing you a beautiful day!
