Thy mercy.

I’ve been feeling a lot of opposition from the enemy lately. Feelings of self-doubt, worthlessness, and that I’m just not good enough.

It took me a few days (and a prayer) to recognize that these thoughts and feelings were coming from the enemy.

Satan wants us to believe that we aren’t good enough. He wants us to compare ourselves to others. He wants to remind us of our mistakes. He wants us to feel terrible about ourselves…the more distracted, depressed, and angry we are, the more we distance ourselves from our Heavenly Father.

The Lord is aware of our struggles, and how we feel about ourselves. When our foot slips- when we make mistakes- it is his mercy that reaches out to us. It holds us up. It lifts our spirits. It helps us in continuing on in this life.

We must not let the lies of the enemy determine our worth, or our outlook on life.

If you are having a similar negative situation, please pray for discernment about what you are going through. God will answer your prayers and bring truth to your heart and mind. We are all his children, and we are all valued in his sight.

Wishing you a beautiful day!
