Without pain, there is no growth.

The difficulties of my life as of late have had me thinking- am I going to let these trials take me away from God, or am I going to use these experiences to draw closer to God and Jesus Christ?

The burdens we bear in this life are not easy. Everyone is fighting some sort of battle- some are personal and private. Other battles are more easily recognizable to friends, family, and the public.

Whether the battles, burdens, and trials of your life are public or private- God sees them all. He sees our sufferings. He sees our pains. He knows exactly what is going on in our lives and what we need for personal growth. More often than not, what we need for growth is NOT what we want.

The harsh reality of life is that without pain, there is no growth.

How we use our pain is up to us. We can use it to become better, or we can use it to become bitter. We can get on our knees and pray to God for help, or we can turn away from him in bitterness- allowing the influence of the enemy to take over.

If you have turned your back on God in your pain, please know that the situation can be remedied. He’s loving and forgiving. Like any good father, he always welcomes us back with open arms. Ask God what he wants you to learn from these difficulties. He will guide you on.

Wishing you a beautiful day!
