In Luke, the Savior teaches us about His return. He states “for as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.”
He tells us to watch for Him- and to also watch ourselves and our actions. He asks us to repent and to pray always- so that we will be counted worthy to stand before Him.
I often think of the verses in Matthew 7:21-23 where Jesus says: “Not every one that
saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
And then I will profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”
Take the time now to learn about Jesus. It will absolutely change your life for the better.
Do not wait to repent- every single one of us has sinned. We are not perfect, we all make mistakes. He died for us and our sins- all we have to do is pray and ask forgiveness for them.
Take the time now to build a relationship with Him. I promise it will bless your life. It will change your heart. It will deepen your faith. It will reduce your anxiety. In this troubled world- He is the peace in the storm. He will guide you and help you. He already knows who you are and what you are struggling with. Just pray.
Take the time now, before it’s too late.
Love,
Amber
