In this verse, Christ has asked us to take His yoke upon us and learn of Him. As we learn and apply His teachings to our own lives, we will deepen our relationship with Him. He will share in our joys; He will help lighten our burdens. And, in the heart-wrenching moments of our lives, He will carry us when we feel as though we cannot go on. He will give us rest unto our souls.

Jesus Christ lives. He sits at the right hand of the Father.

He loves every single one of us- so much that He gave His life for our sins.
He is our light in the darkness, our calm in the storm, and our best friend.
Let the Prince of Peace give you rest today from this troubled world.
