Paul’s miraculous conversion story is one of my favorites. Paul’s story is a witness of what the healing powers of Jesus Christ can do for one’s heart. It testifies of the divinity of the Savior: that Jesus could take a man such as Paul(who was Saul at the time) and turn his heart of stone into a heart of flesh. He gives us a new heart, and a new spirit.(Ezekiel 36)
The Lord took away Paul’s rage and bitterness, his hardened heart, and his hatred. The Lord blessed him with the desire to serve others, and to share the good news with as many as he could.
He filled Paul’s heart with love for his fellow man. Paul’s life was forever changed from meeting the Savior.
If we are willing to place our faith and trust in Jesus, He will give us a new heart. He will give us a new spirit. And, just like Paul, we will be forever changed.
