Hosanna in the highest!

Today is Palm Sunday, the day that Jesus entered triumphantly into Jerusalem.
He rode upon a donkey, an act which symbolized peace.
The people of Jerusalem placed garments and palm branches upon the path He would take. The multitudes cried out: “Hosanna to the Son of David: Blessed is he that cometh
in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.”

The word Hosanna is not only an expression of praise and worship, it is also
an appeal for deliverance. The Hebrew meaning of the word is “save now” or “save us,
we pray.”

On this Palm Sunday, may we offer up our Hosannas to God- not only in praise,
but in request for deliverance from the pandemic that we are facing. I know that God
will hear our prayers. We must have faith.

Have a blessed Palm Sunday, dear friends.
